Terms of use

PartLocks is a tool for planning a PC build and checking whether the parts you picked go together. It is free and needs no account. We do not sell hardware, we take no payments, and we are not a reseller for any shop or manufacturer.

These terms are an agreement between you and TERNARY THAILAND, which operates the PartLocks website.

Every spec figure shown here was read off the manufacturer’s own website, and each product page names that source together with the date it was checked. Where we have not checked a value, we leave it blank and say we do not know rather than guess.

Even so, a compatibility result is a reference to help you decide, not a guarantee. Manufacturers’ own spec pages can be wrong, a maker may change a part’s dimensions between sub-revisions without saying so, and the SKU a shop sells may not be the model the maker published. Confirm with the manufacturer or the shop before you buy.

We accept no liability for losses arising from a purchase decision based on this site. But if we have got something wrong, tell us and we will fix it and say what we changed.

The prices shown today are a distributor’s suggested retail. They are not an offer from any shop, and they bind neither us nor any retailer. Shops in Thailand routinely sell below them — useful for setting a budget, not for deciding what you will pay.

The site is not yet connected to shop prices. Once it is, the prices shown will come straight from the e-commerce platform and may differ from the price you see when you get there. All prices and terms of sale belong to that shop and platform, not to us.

This site may earn affiliate commission when you buy through a link we show, at no extra cost to you, and commission never affects the order prices appear in — the ranking method is set out in full at how we rank prices.

Use the site to help you decide what to buy, and copy build links to share them. Please do not pull large amounts of data with automated programs in a way that interferes with the service. If you need a bulk dataset, get in touch and we can talk about it.

All brand names, model names and trade marks belong to their respective owners. We refer to them only to identify products, and we are neither affiliated with nor endorsed by any manufacturer.

Every page works without an account, and if you do not sign in we collect no personal data about you at all. There is an optional sign-in by emailed link; if you use it we store your address and the list of devices you are signed in on. The details are in the privacy policy.

We may revise these terms as the site gains capabilities — when it starts showing live prices, for instance — and the date above will always say when we last did.
